Internet for Educators
This course is designed for students who have a basic proficiency with computers and who wish to explore the instructional resources on the Internet. The course focuses on instructional models that effectively incorporate real-world information resources within instructional units, lesson plans, and student projects. Students will create technology-enhanced lesson plans.

- Conduct an online search using Internet search tools.
- Identify educational Web resources.
- Construct a list of content specific Internet resource sites.
Creation of Technology-Enhanced Lesson Plans
- Examine quality educational Web sites.
- Analyze Web resources for lesson plans.
- Compare and contrast two different curriculum designs.
- Create a technology-enhanced lesson plan that integrates the use of the Internet and Internet resources.
Identification of Ancillary Services Web Sites
- Examine Web sites that support student diversity.
- Identify Web sites for educational administrators and guidance counselors.
- Access Web sites that feature measurement, assessment, and evaluation resources.
- Develop an assessment tool for the technology-enhanced lesson plan.
