Goals and Objectives: As a result of participation in this course, students will be able to:

  1. Know factors and situations that are likely to promote or diminish intrinsic motivation and how to help students become self-motivated.
  2. Learn how to establish a positive climate in the classroom.
  3. Use different motivational strategies that are likely to encourage continuous development of individual learner abilities.

  5. Understand the benefits of the backward design approach of lesson planning.
